View of Tuckerman's and the White Mountains from Mount Washington

This panorama from Mount Washington was photographed on a brisk March morning in 1998. The view looks south over Tuckerman's Ravine, Boott Spur, and the southern Presidentials in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The shadow of the summit of Mount Washington is off to the right over the Mount Washington Valley. This panoramic view looking south from the summit is available as a panoramic poster.

Conditions were quite unusual for the 'windiest place on Earth' as hardly a breeze was blowing on this cold, clear morning. It sure made it a lot easier for doing some panoramic photography!
