Nature panorama of dawn over Lake George

	This panoramic photo of Lake George is one I had tried to get for some time... It's not often that you get this combination of fresh snow clinging to the branches along with brilliant sunrise light over the open waters of Lake George. I was anticipating clearing conditions, checked the weather maps to confirm it, and headed off to this beautiful lookout over Lake George for photos of the snow with the open waters of Lake George as a backdrop. I arrived with plenty of time to set up before the sun rose behind Sleeping Beauty Mountain. The wind started to pick up just as the sun rose and started blowing snow off the trees in the valley, but wasn't strong enough yet to affect the delicate mantle of snow that balanced on every branch in this photo.
