Panorama of Lake George from a wild ledge on Pilot Knob

As I have time to get out and explore, I keep looking for new vantage points of Lake George that help show off the splendor of this beautiful Adirondack lake. I've been up Buck Mtn. a few times, and then started exploring it's neighbor peak, Pilot Knob. As I wandered over the steep face, I found various places that offer views of Lake George.

This one is a more secluded view, but it gives the feel of a nice Adirondack summer day, wind whispering through the swaying pine boughs, and the bright sun sparkling off the crystal clear waters of Lake George.
