Virtual panoramic view of a stream along the trail of Cascade Mtn.

I've climbed Cascade many times, and have often stopped by this stream on the way to enjoy the soft cascade of water that drops near the trail. I had done some photography of the ice here one winter, and had often wanted to try to capture the refreshing feel of this gentle stream. As I was on my way down from doing some dawn photography on the summit in June of 2000, the softness of the light and the freshness of the green leaves caused me to stop and take a look once again.

After climbing up the mossy bank - and slipping down and climbing up again - I thought I might be able to capture the feel I wanted by doing a panorama. I set up the Roundshot, put on a 20 mm lens, and took this 180 degree view of the stream, the roots, and the springtime vegetation.
