This panorama was photographed on a soft summer morning from the summit of Noonmark Mountain in the Adirondack High Peaks. The 140 degree view looks out over Giant Mountain, Round Mountain, Rocky Peak Ridge, the Champlain Valley of New York and Vermont, and some of the eastern foothills of the Adirondack Park. The mood was very soft and gentle on this early summer morning back in 1997. There is a soft covering of fog over much of the Lake Champlin Valley area in the distance being gently illuminated by the rising sun. | |||
