360 panorama of the Adirondacks from the Goodnow Mtn. fire tower

I'd been thinking of taking a 360 from inside a fire tower since soon after getting the Roundshot, and finally decided where and when would work out the best. On this December 1999 morning, a nice soft dawn light filled the tower and helped cut down on contrast between inside the tower - and the view through the windows.

With the sun being reflected in the glass on all four sides, it's almost hard to tell where east actually is! The actual sunrise is to the right of the topographic map table. This grand view takes in nearby Rich Lake and the Adirondack High Peak region off to the north, the Goodnow Flow area to the south, and all the surrounding higher terrain in the Newcomb, Long Lake, and Blue Mountain Lake area.
