Nature panorama of sunset over Schroon Lake from Adirondack

In September 2001, I had spent some time photographing the view of Schroon Lake from a nearby rock outcropping and was on my way back home when I began to realize how pretty the sunset was going to be. I quickly turned the car around and drove back up to Adirondack.

I found a nice spot on the northern part of the beach to set up, and photographed as the clouds first lit up with pinks and then became a brilliant red color before the light began to fade. This view looks south and west down the lake.
