Adirondack nature photography panorama of Deer Pond


I had permission to visit Deer Pond in the central Adirondacks to photograph deer along the shoreline of a wild Adirondack lake. The only deer I ever did see were so far away I'd have needed the Hubble telescope to have them show up in a picture. As I was looking around, waiting for some deer to magically appear, I began to realize just how beautiful the scene was - without a deer. I set up to photograph this panorama while the sun was still low in the fog. The view is one that could happen on any number of pristine Adirondack lakes...
