360 Panorama of fall colors along a stream in the Lake George Wild Forest

There's a beautiful wild stream that flows from the northern Lake George Wild Forest region into the east end of Brant Lake. I head up into this area for a walk from time to time, and keep looking for new ways to capture the beauty of this area on film.

On an overcast day in October of 2000, I headed up the stream with my Roundshot panoramic camera, and walked back to a spot that I thought would work well for a 360 panoramic image. The soft light helped bring through the detail in the shadow areas and the evergreens, and also enhanced the colors of the leaves that were pretty much in their prime of fall color.
